2023-24 Schedule Released
The Francis Howell Hockey Club's schedule was announced today for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity 2023-24 regular seasons.
The Varsity Vikings open play in the Mid States Hockey Association's Municipal Division against St. John Vianney on Friday, November 3 at 7:45pm on their home ice at the St. Peters Rec Plex South Building, Rink A. Key matchups for Howell this season include two contests against reigning Challenge Cup champions DeSmet Jesuit on Thursday, November 16 at 6:30pm at Queeny Park and again on Saturday, January 20 at 9:10pm at the Centene Community Ice Center. A unique twist to this year's schedule includes two cross-division games, which pits the Vikings against reigning Wickenheiser Cup champions Fort Zumwalt West in a New Year's Day tilt at 7:15pm at the Wentzville Ice Arena and a faceoff against Wentzville Liberty for their final regular season game of the season on Saturday, January 27 on home ice at the St. Peters Rec Plex South Building, Rink A.
The Junior Varsity Vikings, who made the Final Four during last season's JV Playoffs, start their season by hosting St. Dominic on Sunday, October 29 at 8:30pm on Rink B of the St. Peters Rec Plex South Building. They will face DeSmet Jesuit, the team who knocked them out of the championship hunt last season in a dramatic overtime shootout, on Thursday, December 21 at 7:45pm at Queeny Park. The JV club finishes regular season play on Monday, January 29 against Parkway Central in an outdoor contest at the Centene Ice Center's "Barn."
Admission to all games is $5.00 (all ages).
